Prince Charles fears son Harry's tell-all memoir will be an "excoriating takedown of Camilla", claims a source.It has been reported the future king offered Prince Harry an olive branch in an effort to spare any humiliation the Duchess of Cornwall may face in his son’s upcoming book.

The Prince of Wales is said to have invited Harry and Meghan to stay with him ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next month.

Last year it was announced that the Duke of Sussex had signed a book deal to tell his story. A source revealed to The Sun that Charles worries his son’s book will be an “excoriating takedown” of the Duchess of Cornwall and the damage it could do to her reputation – at a time when the British public seemed to have “finally taken her to their hearts”.The source said: “Charles is deeply protective of Camilla.
