Prince Charles' coronation will reportedly be a dialed down version of his mother's lavish ceremony, which took place 70 years ago and cost the equivalent of £46milion in today's pound.Under the codename Operation Golden Orb, plans are being drawn up for when the Prince of Wales is crowned King alongside Queen Camilla.
It is expected that the future King of England's ceremony will be a shorter and "far cheaper" coronation than the Queen's which cost which cost £1.57million back in 1953, reports The Mirror.
