Prince Andrew has been dropped as patron of almost 50 organisations in the wake of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Whether it has been done quietly, or publicly, its been reported that the Duke of York has indeed been removed from the top role of several organisations.
It comes months after Andrew's disastrous BBC interview in which journalist Emily Maitlis grilled the royal about his links with Epstein, and on allegations the Duke had sex with the dead financier's accuser Virginia Giuffre when she was aged 17 - which he denies.
Some organisations have stated that it is 'no longer appropriate' for them to continue public associations with the Duke of York, The Telegraph reports.
