Police have launched a search for a man whose dogs attacked a Jack Russell terrier and injured two people when they tried to rescue him.
The attack occurred on August 13 at approximately 5:15pm when both the woman and her partner were taking a walk along a quiet footpath.
The couple noticed a man sitting on the ground on Hadrian's Way footpath, Newcastle, with two Pit Bulls who then proceeded to free themselves from their lead and bite their Jack Russell on the neck, reports Chronicle Live.When they intervened to try save their pooch, the Pit Bulls then attacked them.
