Polling stations close across Scotland as results to be announced tomorrow

Many constituency results will be announced tomorrow afternoon, while all the regional lists are expected on Saturday.Nicola Sturgeon (SNP), Anas Sarwar (Labour), Douglas Ross (Tories), Willie Rennie (Lib Dems), Patrick Harvie and Lorna Slater (co-leaders of the Greens) will be eagerly awaiting the results as they look to return as many MSPs as possible.As Scots headed to the polls the Met Office issues a yellow weather warning for snow in the north of Scotland.It was the first time since 2015 it has issued a snow warning in May in the UK.Polling day passed without any real incident, however SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon was confronted by far-right.
