Reports of barren shelves in supermarkets have increased over the last few days, with some products being low in stock and other branches being forced to close due to members of staff having to self-isolate.

The Mirror wants to know how you've been affected. The so-called 'pingdemic' saw a record 618,903 people receiving alerts to self-isolate.

This is up 17% on the week before. Grocery giants including Iceland have urged consumers not to panic-buy, with some stating that the shortages are not widespread.

Self isolation rules have now been updated, with exemptions for workers at 500 food sites which are joining a daily contact testing programme.
