Police seize Mercedes after driver races another car in Peter Street

manchestereveningnews.co.ukA driver had his white Mercedes car seized by Greater Manchester Police after racing another car down Peter Street on Sunday evening.
The motorist had previously been warned by officers for driving in an antisocial manner when he was stopped in Deansgate at the end of September and, on this occasion, taking into consideration his past history, they decided to take firmer action.
A spokesperson on the official Greater Manchester Police Manchester City Centre Twitter account @GMPCityCentre commented on the incident this evening in an 11.11pm post that was accompanied by a photograph of the vehicle being towed away.
