Incredible footage shows the moment police officers resuscitated a 10-week-old baby by performing CPR with two fingers. The baby was taken to a police station after he stopped taking in air on September 2 in Rockhampton, Australia.
After his mum took him to the counter at the station, three police officers immediately started CPR, using just two fingertips on the boy, called Lucas.
Queensland Police released dramatic video of the resuscitation, which shows Sergeant Paul James calmly compressing the newborn's chest after he was showing no signs of life and his face had lost colour.
Thankfully, the baby started to let out sharp gasps of air after just 30 seconds as officers then turned Lucas on his side and put him in the recovery position,
