Police investigating death of tricyclist want to speak to drivers of three vehicles

Police investigating the death of a well-known tricyclist would like to speak to the drivers of three vehicles who may have witnessed the fatal crash.

James Lawley died following a collision involving his pedal tricycle and two cars in Morecambe, Lancs. It happened at 7.47am on Saturday, September 21, reports LancsLive.

Officers have now identified three vehicles they believe were in the area at the time and would like to speak to the drivers, who may have seen the crash on Oxcliffe Road, Heaton-with-Oxcliffe. READ MORE: 'Sleeping rough on the streets would be better than this' They are a new shape black Land Rover Defender, a blue Toyota CH-R, and a grey/silver Skoda Superb that were travelling along Oxcliffe Road towards the Bay Gateway.

Detectives have also released a photo of James riding a tricycle in the hope it will help people remember him that morning. They say the trike he was riding on September 21 was very similar to the one pictured, howver he was wearing a different cycling top.
