Police vowed to leave "no stone unturned" after what they described as a "horrifying" and "sickening" attack. The incident was reported to have happened shortly after 12.30am on Tuesday April 20th.

A woman in her 20s was reported to have been randomly targeted and attacked by a group of men as she walked through Kirkup Gardens in Wythenshawe. READ MORE A week after the report detectives were said to be 'working around the clock' to establish the full extent of the attack.
