Police called to Liverpool team hotel hours before Premier League finale vs Wolves

Liverpool team hotel just hours before their final Premier League match of the season against Wolverhampton Wanderers.Officers were called to the Titanic Hotel at Liverpool's Stanley Docks, where the team were staying, after it was targeted by fireworks in the early hours of this morning.

Pyrotechnics were set off outside the hotel at 1:45am on Sunday, with Merseyside Police confirming "a couple of fireworks" were set off on Regent Road.When the police arrived, they found an empty box of fireworks at the scene and spoke to a man who they later took home.No arrests were made but The Mirror report a police spokesperson said high-visibility patrols were carried out following the incident.Liverpool host Wolves at Anfield on Sunday afternoon in their final match of the season, with the title still a possibility for Jurgen Klopp's side.The Reds go into the final day one point behind City but will snatch the title if they win and City slip up at home to Aston Villa, who are managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.Speaking to the media ahead of the match, Klopp admitted he would have laughed if someone had told him Liverpool would have the chance to win the quadruple still at this stage of the season.Who will win the Premier League title?
