Plans to expand a Trafford primary school have been given the green light by the council. Trafford council itself applied to extend Firs Primary School in Sale, with a new nursery and two-storey classroom block.
A larger dining hall and new car park off Firs Road is also planned. READ MORE: Plans for more than 350 homes on former school sites revealed Council officers recommended that the application is granted and last night (October 14) planning committee members voted unanimously to approve the application.
The application was called in to the committee because it had received more than six objections from local residents and businesses.
