Piers Morgan has added new vigour to his online clashes with BBC rival Dan Walker. The breakfast show competitors often exchange barbs, with Dan quoting viewing figures and Good Morning Britain firebrand Piers reckoning the former too soft during his interviews with politicians.
And now Piers has taken a fresh jab at Dan after his own interview with vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi gained traction online.
Piers grilled Mr Zahawi on the government's conduct during the pandemic, touching on the subject of Health Secretary Matt Hancock.
Mr Hancock yesterday refused to resign after the High Court ruled the government had unlawfully failed to publish details of billions of pounds of coronavirus-related contracts.
