PIERS Morgan has hinted he's landed Jon Snow's old Channel 4 News job. The broadcaster and journalist, 73, left Channel 4 News earlier today after 32 years at the helm - making him the longest-serving presenter in the show's history.
However, it appears Piers has thrown his hat in the ring to take on the job for himself. The former Good Morning Britain wrote on Twitter: "Shall I dust down my tie collection @Channel4News ?" But it looks like his chances may be a bit slim, as Editor of Channel 4 News Ben de Pear wrote: "Don't ring us, we'll ring you." Jon Snow announced today he would be leaving the show following a 32 year stint.
