Students of Magdalen College hit the headlines this week after it was reported the Middle Common Room committee had 'overwhelmingly' voted to take down the image of the reigning monarch from display and replace it with 'art by or of other influential and inspirational people'. "This is about our communal space and making people feel welcome," one voter was reported as saying.
