Piers Morgan could end up replacing David Walliams as a Britain's Got Talent judge in 2022, it's been reported. In reference to falling viewing figures, sources have said that the Good Morning Britain presenter would bring some "edge" back to the ITV reality show.
Piers, 55, first appeared on the BGT judging panel alongside Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden when the series first began back in 2007.
Little Britain star David, 49, joined BGT in 2012 and has recently signed a one year extension to his contract with ITV, taking him through to 2021.A source said: "Britain’s Got Talent is one of the few Saturday night shows which continues to shine and stay relevant."But all shows need refreshing, and Piers will certainly do that.
