The 56-year-old broadcaster and Diddly Squat Farm Shop owner, 61, famously feuded for over a decade before calling a ceasefire over recent years.Despite the pair burying the hatchet publicly, it seems the former Top Gear presenter still harbours some feelings of mistrust towards his one-time foe.Piers recently shared an encounter which he supposedly had with Jeremy at Rupert Murdoch's 90th birthday party.In his re-telling, Piers alleged that Jeremy revealed to him the reason why he didn't send him a congratulatory text on his new contract with the tycoon's talkTV was because he didn't want Piers to write about the message.
