Phoebe Waller-Bridge To Narrate Wildlife Documentary ‘Octopus!’ For Amazon
deadline.comPhoebe Waller-Bridge is going underwater. The Fleabag creator is making a two-part documentary about octopuses for Amazon. Waller-Bridge is exec producing and narrating Octopus!
for Prime Video. Octopus!, which will premiere this spring, will explore the otherworldly depths of one of the most intelligent and mysterious life forms on Earth as it follows the Giant Pacific Octopus from birth to death.
It will feature an “eclectic mix” of characters who have their own connections to these creatures, from the scientist trying to save them, the explorer trying to understand them, to Tracy Morgan, who is obsessed with them.
It was developed under Wells Street Films overall deal with Amazon MGM Studios and the two companies will produce with Jigsaw Productions.
