Phillip Schofield attended the funeral of his beloved mother Patricia at St. Michael's Church in Newquay, Cornwall, on Friday, 8 November.

In an intimate gathering, he was joined by close family, including his former wife Stephanie and their daughters Ruby and Molly.

Phillip, 62, was seen carrying his mother's casket, with Stephanie taking care to look after Phillip's dog, who was also present for the ceremony. The service was made even more poignant by a touching musical homage from the Cornish Kernow Men's Choir.

Inside, framed pictures of Patricia stood as tokens of her memory, inviting those present to honour her life. Former This Morning presenter Phillip took to Instagram last month to share the news of his mother's passing, posting: "Over three days, we held her, loved her, hugged her and said everything that needed to be said." The wicker casket, adorned with a floral display that included white roses, was carefully placed into the hearse by pallbearers after the service.
