After a disappointing showing at the World Seniors Championship, Taylor reached the final of the World Seniors Masters. This weekend, he is in action at the World Seniors Matchplay in Hull and began his campaign on Friday with an 8-4 win over Deta Hedman.Taylor was disappointed with his performance though and admitted post-match that he hasn’t been as focused on darts as he should have been.

I’ve bought another property and I’ve been working on that. My focus isn’t on darts, it’s on other things. [But] You’ve got to do it properly,” he told Online Darts TV.“I watched an interview on TikTok, it was Ronaldo at Manchester United.
