A massive upset was on the cards after Alfie May gave League Two side Cheltenham a shock lead in Saturday's fourth round tie at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium just before the hour mark.
It stayed that way until less there was less than 10 minutes to go as Foden equalised in the 81st minute. Gabriel Jesus then put City in front three minutes later, and Ferran Torres sealed the victory with a third goal deep into added time.
