Chelsea player Jason Cundy believes Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling have brought more creativity to England than David Beckham ever did.The former Manchester City teammates were deployed alongside Harry Kane in England’s 3-3 home draw against Germany and the 1-0 loss to Italy.
However, Gareth Southgate enjoyed more success against the Germans when he tweaked his frontline, by introducing Mason Mount and Bukayo Saka in place of the aforementioned duo.
While Sterling and Foden both had their moments at Wembley, England played with more zip and speed when Mount and Saka were introduced into the contest.
However, this has not stopped Cundy from placing both Foden and Sterling above the iconic Manchester United legend, on a creativity perspective.
