Petr Cech has fired a warning to Chelsea ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash with Manchester United, as he expects a response from the visitors at Stamford Bridge.
United are set for their first league match since the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with Michael Carrick taking charge once again having been in the dugout for the midweek victory against Villarreal.
It looks set to be the second and final game for Carrick in the United dugout, with Ralf Rangnick set to come in next week on an interim basis until the end of the season.
However, former Chelsea goalkeeper Cech believes that United could still benefit from the new manager bounce this weekend. "We have a saying in Czech: ‘the new broom sweeps better’.
