Nick Cave has named the Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde his favourite film of all time.The musician, who composed the score for the Netflix film with Warren Ellis, was asked to name his favourite film ever by a fan on his newsletter The Red Hand Files.In response to the question, Cave simply wrote: “Blonde. Love, Nick.”Directed by Andrew Dominik and starring Ana de Armas, Blonde is based on a novel by Joyce Carol Oates and is described as a “reimagining” of Monroe’s life.A synopsis reads: “Blonde boldly reimagines the life of one Hollywood’s most enduring icons, Marilyn Monroe.

Nick Cave is set to share a global stream of one of his shows in Europe last year.Titled Wild God – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Live In Paris, the stream is set to show Cave’s full live show from his recently completed number of UK and European tour dates.The footage was captured at the music icon’s show at the Accor Arena in the French Capital last November, and marked the final date of the band’s extensive European tour. Billy Corgan has revealed that he has entered the auction to win Courtney Love‘s handwritten lyrics to the Hole song ‘Violet’.The Smashing Pumpkins frontman took to his official Instagram account to post a video clip in which he shared that he has purchased three tickets for the auction of Love’s handwritten lyrics for Hole’s 1994 track. Don’t fuck it up at the 11th hour. Is that one of the things we thought was good? Sounds like a mad-man walked in to it,” Cave says during the first clips.Greenwood also makes an appearance while laying down parts of a bass track in the studio.
