Kristin Kreuk, who played Lana Lang in the hit CW series Smallville, has opened up about Emmanuelle Chirqui taking on the iconic role.Chirqui, 44, was cast as Lang in The CW's Superman & Lois, opposite Tyler Hochlin as Superman/Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as intrepid reporter Lois Lane.Kruek, 37, portrayed Lang, the young love interest of Clark Kent while he was growing up on Smallville, which ran for 10 seasons between 2001 and 2011, with the actress opening up to TV Line about Chirqui taking over the role.
