Limited Edition radio show is returning to BBC Radio 6 Music this month.The actor and musician has hosted two previous instalments of the show, both in the autumns of 2020 and 2021, and kicks off this year’s 10-part series on September 17.Murphy will broadcast a “nocturnal playlist to end the weekend” from 10pm-12pm on Sundays in which he’ll “share songs from all corners of his record collection and share why they hold a special place in his life”, a press release states.The Oppenheimer star announced the news during a chat with Nemone (sitting in for Lauren Laverne) on BBC Radio 6 Music earlier today (September 1). Suzanne Vega has announced that she will be hitting the road next year for a winter UK tour – get tickets here.The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter – whose most recent album was 2020’s ‘An Evening Of New York Songs And Stories’ – will kick off the tour at Bexhill On Sea’s De La Warr Pavilion on February 11, 2023.Vega will then make stops in Ipswich, Northampton, Edinburgh, York, Cambridge, Cardiff and more, before wrapping up the tour at London’s Royal Festival Hall on March 2.Tickets go on sale on Friday (June 24) at 10am BST – get them here.

Glastonbury has confirmed the full 2022 line-up for its Acoustic Stage.This latest addition to the growing Worthy Farm bill for this year’s festival, which is held from June 22-26, follows on from recent line-up announcements for the Glade, Common, Left Field and Shangri-La areas.The Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury 2022, which specialises in blues, folk, contemporary and country music, will see headline performances from Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott (June 24), The Waterboys (25) and Suzanne Vega (26).The likes of The Undertones, Richard Thompson, Tony Christie, the Bootleg Beatles, The Shires, Brian Kennedy, Mary Coughlan, Scouting For Girls, Fisherman’s Friends, Laura Veirs, Terry Reid and this year’s Emerging Talent Competition winner, Lewis McLaughlin, will also perform on the Acoustic Stage.A post shared by Glastonbury Festival (@glastofest)“The Acoustic Stage is a festival within a festival,” a statement on Glastonbury’s website reads. “For the last 30 years or so, people have been trooping up to the hill to the haven of the Acoustic field.“The crowds visit the Acoustic Stage to either avoid the rain and, maybe even, the sun – in the sanctuary of [our] super-duper circus tent – or, to hear acoustic, song-based music.”Last week the official site map for Glastonbury 2022 was shared by the festival organisers, giving ticketholders their first look at site changes and new areas at this year’s festival.

Laura Veirs has today shared a new track – ‘Burn Too Bright’. You can listen to it below.The track, which is accompanied by a lyric video created by Veirs and her sons, is a dedication to the late musician and producer Richard Swift who died of complications from alcoholism in July 2018 aged 41.Swift was a regular collaborator with The Black Keys’ frontman Dan Auerbach, having performed in both The Arcs and The Black Keys.
