Police carry out door-to-door enquiries after man hospitalised following 'serious' attack
hospital treatment.The 35-year-old victim was discovered injured on Thorny Crook Gardens in Dalkeith yesterday.Cops were called to the scene at 2:05pm and arrived forty minutes later.The man was then rushed to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.Police are now trying to piece together the events which led to the attack, which they do not believe occurred at the location he was found in.A Police Scotland statement reads: "Detectives are continuing enquiries after a man was seriously assaulted in Dalkeith"In an effort to establish the exact location of the attack, extensive door-to-door enquiries were carried out in the immediate area.
