JoJo Siwa To Star & Exec Produce Nickelodeon Live-Action Musical ‘The J Team’
JoJo Siwa is set to star in and executive produce The J Team, a live-action musical for Nickelodeon and studio Awesomeness. Cast also includes Tisha Campbell-Martin (Martin, Empire), Laura Soltis (Hiccups), Julia Marley (Dead to Me), Kerrynton Jones (Little Fires Everywhere) and Kiara T. Romero (The Prom). Production begins this month in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The J Team, written by Edie Faye (Fuller House) and directed by Emmy-winner Michael Lembeck (The Santa Clause 2, Tooth Fairy), marks the first production under Awesomeness and Nickelodeon Live-Action Film Studio head Syrinthia Studer.
