West Ham co-owner's son Jack Sullivan tops Sunday Times Young Rich List in sport
West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has been named top of the Sunday Times’ Young Rich List of sportspeople with a staggering £1.1billion net worth.Jack Sullivan, 22, sensationally topped the list of those involved in the UK sports industry under the age of 30 ahead of every Premier League footballer in the country. He also came second in the overall top-100 list which includes other industries, only being topped by Australian-born businessman Johnny Boufarhat on £2.06billion from his online platform Hopin.It is unlikely to thrill Hammers supporters after narrowly missing out on Europa League football on Sunday, with Sullivan’s fortune taking into account his family’s overall wealth.He was followed on the list of sportspeople by 29-year-old Ben Francis, who owns the Gymshark brand, and Lewis Morgan, who co-founded the same sportswear brand and is now chairman of the AYBL Group.Meanwhile, a whopping 34 of the top 100 who made the overall list were footballers.Do you think too much money has ruined football?
