Teacup is coming to an end on Thursday (October 31)!

Sad news for fans of Teacup.

There will be no season 2 for horror thriller series Teacup. Peacock has canceled the series after one season, Deadline has learned.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter The horror thriller series “Teacup” has been canceled at Peacock after just one season, Variety has learned. The show was inspired by the Robert McCammon novel “Stinger.” It was originally picked up straight-to-series at the NBCUniversal-backed streaming service in 2022 and debuted in October 2024. Per the official logline, the show followed “a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive.” The lead cast for the series included Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre, and Luciano Leroux.

Kathy Baker (“Picket Fences,” “Edward Scissorhands”), Boris McGiver (“For Life,” “House of Cards”), Caleb Dolden (“The Requiem Boogie,” “Single Parents”), Emilie Bierre (“A Colony,” “The Guide to the Perfect Family”), and Luciano Leroux (“Yellowjackets,” “A Million Little Things”) have all joined the cast of the series. Speedman will now star alongside previously announced cast member Yvonne Strahovski. Joe Otterson TV Reporter Simu Liu is set to star in what is described as an espionage techno-thriller that has been ordered straight to series at Peacock. The announcement was made at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena. The untitled series hails from Thomas Brandon (“Legacies”) with James Wan attached as an executive producer.

He was 73. The news was announced by his brother and Gentle Giant bandmate Derek, who wrote in a statement: “I am deeply saddened to announce that my younger brother and my best friend Ray Shulman passed away on March 30th at his home in London. I was with him until the end as he bravely battled a long illness. At least I know he is now at peace. “Ray really was a genius in so many ways. He was an incredible composer, musician, music producer and tech wizard. Together with myself and my elder brother Philip he was a founding member of Simon Dupree & The Big Sound and subsequently Gentle Giant. He went on to produce artists like the Sundays, the Sugarcubes, Ian McCulloch and many more. More recently he devoted his tech and musical expertise in authoring and remixing other artists like Jethro Tull, Genesis, King Crimson and many more.”

Ian Brown played a homecoming Manchester gig this weekend (September 30), and dedicated the set to late Happy Mondays bassist Paul Ryder.Brown is currently on his first UK headline tour in a decade, and played the O2 Victoria Warehouse in his hometown on Friday night.As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Brown told the crowd: “I just want to dedicate tonight’s set to one of the greatest human beings I ever met. Let’s hear it for Mr Paul Ryder.”Ryder passed away on July 15 at the age of 58.
