His family shared that Heflin died Sunday, November 15 and that his death was not connected to the COVID-19 virus.“Lance was special to each of us in his own way, bringing joy and laughter to our lives,” the Facebook post from Heflin’s family read.Born in Independence, Missouri on November 21, 1952, Heflin started his producing career with the TV series 48 Hours in 1988.
