Ex-Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro now helping tennis star Andy Murray find his form
Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro is now in charge of helping tennis legend Andy Murray rediscover his best form.Gibraltar-born medical expert Carneiro has been off the radar since her spat with ex-Blues boss Jose Mourinho back in 2015. An incident where she ran onto the pitch to tend to Eden Hazard sparked the fury of the Portuguese manager, leading her to leave the west London club in controversial circumstances. But since 2018, the 48-year-old has formed an unexpected alliance with three-time grand slam champion Murray, 34, in an attempt to rediscover the athlete’s performance levels from earlier in his career. The Telegraph reports Carneiro’s research of collagen - short chains of amino acids that build hair, skin and muscles - attracted Murray’s management group to work with her.
