Marc Malkin Senior Film Awards, Events & Lifestyle Editor The inaugural Soho House Awards, hosted by Stanley Tucci, were presented Thursday night in London. Honorees included actors John Boyega, Ellie Bamber (“Les Misérables”), Yasmin Finney (“Heartstopper”), Evan Mock (“Gossip Girl) and Paapa Essideu (“I May Destory You”) and makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. Musicians Michael Kiwanuka and Self Esteem were honored and also performed during the event. The gala was held at 180 House and broadcast across Soho House’s digital platforms, including Instagram and TikTok. Olympic diver Tom Daley presented the statuettes, known as the Golden Picante awards, to the honorees.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Ellie Bamber led the stars in attendance at the first ever Soho House Award at the private member's club in London on Thursday. The ceremony, which was hosted by actor Stanley Tucci, 61, saw emerging talent and established figures, in film, art and TV honoured for their work over the last 12 months.  Loki actress Gugu, 39, looked incredible while hitting the red carpet in a sequinned mini dress as she flashed a glimpse of her toned legs.

Disney+ said Thursday that Willow, its live-action original series based on the 1988 fantasy film directed by Ron Howard, will premiere on November 30.

Kim Murphy Lucasfilm has released the first trailer for “Willow,” the Disney+ series that serves as a sequel to the 1988 fantasy film of the same name.The company revealed the first look during its Star Wars Celebration event, with star Warwick Davis, Jonathan Kasdan and the original film’s director Ron Howard, as well as some of the film’s all-star cast, were on hand to make the big announcement, alongside Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. “It’s a dream to return to this character,” Davis said onstage.

She replaced Cailee Spaeny, who had been originally tapped for the role, after an extensive recasting process. Lucasfilm declined comment.
