The 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards managed to see an uptick in viewers compared to last year despite a few last minute hiccups.

The show must go on. The 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards will crown winners during a broadcast on Sunday, May 7, without a red carpet or host.
