Conor McGregor set to sell stakes in Proper 12 whiskey brand and could make £110million
UFC star Conor McGregor is reportedly set to earn a bumper payday, with Mexican beverage company Becle announcing that they are taking over the Irishman's whiskey company. McGregor launched Proper Twelve back in 2018 under parent company Eire Born Spirits, which he founded with his manager Audie Attar and entrepreneur Ken Austin.Becle, who own tequila brand Jose Cuervo, initially acquired a 20 per cent stake in the company at launch, which they reportedly increased to 49 per cent last year.
