Morrisons issues alert to all shoppers who drive to its supermarkets
Morrisons has issued an update about its car parks to all shoppers.The store is making changes to its car parks across the UK in a bid to make them more environmentally friendly, according to Manchester Evening News.The retailer is expanding the UK’s largest supermarket network of ‘next generation’ rapid electric charging points for electric vehicles.This will allow customers to charge the majority of cars from flat to full battery in under 45 minutes.The announcement comes after comments from CMA Chief Andrea Costelli who said: “We urgently need to accelerate the roll-out of electric vehicle charging points to reach net zero."The ‘next generation’ initiative can charge an electric car up to six times quicker than standard charging points
