Former Nickelodeon stars are speaking out against the prolific creator and producer Dan Schneider for allegedly forcing the young actors into 'sexualized' scenes.In a new report for Insider, the Victorious actress Daniella Monet, 33, claimed that a scene that she was uncomfortable with was left in the final cut of an episode despite her objections to the network.Although Monet doesn't solely blame Schneider, who was the creator, executive producer and a writer on Victorious, she also blamed Nickelodeon for allowed sexualized scenes to appear in its live-action shows and for inappropriate behavior to occur on set. Speaking out: Several actress, including Daniella Monet and Alexa Nikolas, claimed they were subjected to abuse and forced to film 'sexualized' scenes on Nickelodeon shows created, produced and written by Dan Schneider (pictured in 2015) in a new Insider exposéThe actress described reaching out to the network after she was forced to film a scene in which she applied lip gloss while eating a pickle, which she worried was too sexual to be broadcast on a kid-centric network. But Nickelodeon executives apparently sided with Schneider and the creative team over Monet, and the scene was included in the episode. She added that not only did the executives OK the scene, but its Standards and Practices division would have had to sign off on it as well.

The backlash continues. Daniella Monet opened up about feeling “sexualized” during her time on Victorious — and claimed Nickelodeon ignored her concerns.

Ellise Shafer A series of protests over the prevelance of sexual abuse in the entertainment industry have been staged in front of prominent music companies in recent weeks, and the efforts have been gaining attention on social media via actor Alexa Nikolas. A former cast member of the 2005-2008 Nickelodeon series “Zoey 101,” Nikolas’ megaphone includes more than 255,000 followers on Instagram as well as the public support of such activist groups as the One Hundred Percenters. Her own organization is called Eat Predators, and its supporters have gathered in front of Warner Music Group’s Los Angeles headquarters on July 28; Red Light Management’s L.A. office on July 21; and Sony Music’s Culver City lot last week where about a dozen protesters held signs referencing artists affiliated with the label group who have been accused of sexual misconduct and abuse.

In a scathing Instagram post, the singer mimicked her sister’s new title as a “National best seller.” “The timing of your book was unbelievable Jamie Lynn … especially knowing the whole world had no clue what was really done to me !!!!” She exclaimed. “My whole family including you is saying YOU DIDN’T KNOW ….
