Pep Guardiola refused to answer a question about Manchester City's failure to buy a striker this summer after seeing his side produce a fine attacking display at Brighton.
City were relentless in the first half at Brighton, scoring three in the opening period and having 14 attempts on goal overall before the break.
The Blues added another nine attempts in the second half, running out 4-1 winners, and have 20 goals in the Premier League this season.
Only Chelsea and Liverpool have scored more - with seven of Chelsea's coming against a hapless Norwich on Saturday. In all competitions, City have scored 37 goals this season, despite having no recognised striker after failing to sign Harry Kane in the summer.
