Penny Lancaster has thrown caution to the wind and joined the beat as a Special Constable with the City of London Police. While this is a new title for the wife of Rod Stewart, she’s already been patrolling the streets of London and it’s been an eye-opening experience.
The former model became a police officer having completed eight moths of official training just one month after her 50th birthday in March.
Penny’s role of Special Constable means she has the same powers as ‘regular’ officers, however, she volunteers her time for free.
