Penny Lancaster was spotted smiling in her police uniform in RAF Northolt as she assisted members of the public paying their respects to the Queen.

The former model was on site after Queen Elizabeth II's coffin arrived at the RAF London base on Tuesday night, after flying from Edinburgh.

Penny, 51, who is the wife of Rod Stewart, became a special constable after a stint on Channel 4 reality show Famous and Fighting Crime.

The Loose Woman panellist was one of many officers helping to marshal crowds who were gathering outside the base, before the Queen was then driven to Buckingham Palace.
