Pedro has confirmed he will be leaving Chelsea upon the expiry of his contract this summer. The Spaniard, 32, has proved an important player at Stamford Bridge since joining from Barcelona in 2015, registering 43 goals and 28 assists in 201 appearances for the Blues.
Yet this season he has found first-team opportunities few and far between under Frank Lampard, who has played him a mere nine times in the Premier League.
This lack of game time has plunged Pedro’s future at the club into serious doubt, with his current deal set to expire on June 30 and little progress being made over an extension.
