The parents of a mother who drowned her toddler twins while struggling with depression said there were "missed opportunities" to help their daughter, an inquest heard.
Samantha Ford killed her 23-month-old children Jake and Chloe on Boxing Day 2018 at her home in Castle Drive, Margate, Kent.
Coroner Christopher Sutton-Mattocks ruled Samantha "unlawfully killed" her children after suffering from an "acute stress reaction" to the ending of her marriage with the children's father Steven Ford a few months before the tragic incident.
Tony and Colette Emptage, Ford's parents, described their daughter as an "adoring" mother who did everything in her means to care of her "beloved" children.
