One headline from the study, taking into account the last three transfer windows from summer 2020, January 2021 and summer 2021, is that Manchester City are the second biggest outright spenders in the Premier League during that time.
The CIES Football Observatory found that City spent £277m over the last three windows, including the £100m purchase of Jack Grealish.
