Outlander star Richard Rankin graced the stage in a production of The Tragedy of Macbeth and one of his co-stars showed up to support him.
Richard, who plays Roger Mackenzie in Outlander, has been enjoying some time away from the 18th century Outlander set but now has went even further back to the 11th century as he is cast as Ross in the production at Almeida Theatre, London.
Richard stars alongside James McArdle who plays Macbeth and Saoirse Ronan who plays Lady Macbeth, and also makes her UK stage debut.And last night, Richard's Outlander co-star Lauren Lyle, who plays Marsali Fraser in the show, went along to support her friend at the theatre.Posting her review on Instagram, Lauren said: "'Twas magic to go see.
