The family of Sir David Amess have penned a heartbreaking tribute to the 'strong' and 'courageous' MP and father-of-five. Conservative MP since 1983, Sir David died on Friday (October 16) after being stabbed multiple times at a meeting with constituents in Leigh-on-Sea in Southend, Essex.
A 25-year-old man was arrested immediately at the scene on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
