Mary Lambert, the director of Stephen King’s original 1989Pet Sematary movie for Paramount, has signed with APA. The trailblazing director is currently in Scotland helmingA Castle for Christmas, the Netflix romantic comedy starring Brooke Shields and Cary Elwes.
On the feature front, Lambert also lensed the 1992 sequel Pet Sematary Two. The original Pet Sematary remains the highest-grossing horror movie directed by a woman.
Other features from Lambert include 14 Women; Grand Isle, starring Kelly McGillis and Ellen Burstyn; her first film,Siesta; Clubland, The In Crowd, and Urban Legends: Bloody Mary.
