Ukrainian business magnate has been killed with his wife in a Russian shelling attack. Oleksiy Vadatursky, 74, died along with his wife Raisa when a missile struck their home in the southern city of Mykolaiv.
Mr Vadatursky was the owner of agricultural company Nibulon, which specialises in the export of grain. He was worth an estimated $430million (£400million) and had recently received the "Hero of Ukraine" Award.Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described Mr Vadatursky's death as a great loss, while his adviser suggested that Russia had targeted the tycoon directly.
Mykhailo Podolyak claimed that one of the missiles struck the businessman's bedroom directly, insisting that this left "no doubt" it was a targeted attack by a guided munition. This was followed by a personal visit from President Zelensky to the port of Odesa to watch the first shipments leave harbour.“The first vessel, the first ship is being loaded since the beginning of the war,” Zelensky said in front of a Turkish cargo ship."Port operations are underway.
