Daniel Wroughton Craig (born 2 March 1968) is an English actor. After training at the National Youth Theatre and graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1991, Craig began his career on stage. James Bond star Daniel Craig has revealed his joy at getting to film in the Scottish Highlands - and how he coped with our notorious midges.

The 53-year-old filmed scenes for new Bond flick No Time To Die over the summer.The film, the 25th Bond release, features thrilling action scenes, including one which shows a car chase resulting in vehicles flying through the air.

The incredible stunt was filmed in the Laggan area of Cairngorms National Park, near Aviemore, while a helicopter circled above for even more dramatic footage.

And, speaking to BBC Scotland, Craig spoke of his delight at the project. He explained: "It's been incredible. I've been so fortunate to have been given this opportunity."It still probably hasn’t sunk in – I still get.
