Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was spotted in the stands during Manchester United women's FA Cup fourth round tie against Bridgewater on Sunday. The Norwegian was there to support his 19-year-old daughter Karna, who made her debut for the club after coming off the bench in the second half.As such, the pair have become the first dad and daughter duo to play for the club.United ran out 2-0 winners thanks to Charlotte Buxton's first-half own-goal and Ella Toone's strike eight minutes from time. The 48-year-old was relieved of his duties following a dismal run of form which left the club well off the pace in the title race, with a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Watford proving to be the final straw. He was eventually replaced by Ralf Rangnick, who will remain in charge until the end of the season, when United are expected to appoint a permanent replacement.Shortly after being dismissed, Solskjaer said he wanted to spend the next few months "with his family", but insisted that a return to management at some point is almost certainly on the cards."I'll spend some time with my family.

That's been probably the most difficult part, through the pandemic, with Norway being open and here being closed, my family moved back to Norway and the young one, he loves it back there, so we've lived apart," he told the club's website.Have Manchester United improved since sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?
