Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is delighted with his players' form over the recent international break. The break in the Premier League schedule is often seen as a negative thing, given the way it halts the domestic calendar as it picks up steam.
However, United’s contingent of international players enjoyed a huge amount of success over the past fortnight. Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane all helped France win the UEFA Nations League with victory over Spain, while Cristiano Ronaldo and Scott McTominay scored for Portugal and Scotland.
There was also an assured performance from Jadon Sancho, who has got off to a slow start for United since joining from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
